I am a mixed media artist living and working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Through project-based capsules of work, I explore subjects and ideas inspired by music, memory, writing, private space, observations, and interactions in the world around me.
Personal imagery inevitably threads itself through each project. These include birds, plants, and the figure. Decorative pattern for texture and image support also play a prominent role.
I received a BFA from The Atlanta College of Art
and an MFA from Washington University.
Exhibitions include The Andy Warhol Museum (Pittsburgh, PA), The Carnegie Museum of Art (Pittsburgh, PA), and the Universidad Nacional de San Augustin de Arequipa (Arequipa, Peru), among others.
